- Account information: Name, email address, phone number, company name, and password when you create an account.
- Change order data: Project descriptions, pricing details, scope of work, and client information you enter into the platform.
- Signature data: Electronic signatures collected from you and your clients, including IP address, timestamp, and device information at the time of signing.
- Payment information: Billing details processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and interactions with the platform collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
- Communications: Messages you send through our contact forms, support channels, or feedback tools.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Final Bark platform and services.
- Process change orders, generate PDF documents, and facilitate electronic signatures.
- Process payments and manage billing through our payment processor, Stripe.
- Send you transactional emails (change order notifications, signature requests, receipts).
- Send marketing communications if you have opted in, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
- Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
- Analyze usage patterns to improve product features and user experience.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: We share data with trusted third-party providers who help us operate our platform, including Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), and email delivery services.
- Change order recipients: When you send a change order for client approval, the client receives access to the change order details and can view your name and company information.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of the transaction.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure with enterprise-grade security measures including:
- 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit.
- AES-256 encryption for data at rest.
- Row-level security policies ensuring users can only access their own data.
- Regular security audits and monitoring.
- SOC 2 compliant infrastructure.
Payment information is processed and stored exclusively by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data stored on our platform.
- Correction: Update or correct inaccurate personal information.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention requirements for signed documents.
- Export: Download your change orders and signed documents as PDF files.
- Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in each email.
Note: Signed change orders and electronic signature records may be retained as legally required under the ESIGN Act, even after account deletion.
